Join Friends of Babbage and Bessemer’s Block Party 2026 for some good old fashioned fun.
We’re hosting a community block party beneath the Lower Montauk trestle as we gather to imagine a brighter future for this overlooked corner of Richmond Hill. Enjoy ping pong, printmaking, dancing on our community dance floor, medieval and Renaissance music, and a special live performance by Nico Hedley.
We'll have neighborhood resources, local information, opportunities to share your ideas for the area, and a visit from State Senator Joseph Addabbo Jr.
This event is free and open to all ages. Come meet your neighbors, enjoy live music and activities, and help build momentum for a cleaner, greener, safer, and more connected community.
