BLOCK PARTY
Our annual Babbage & Bessemer Block Party brought together several hundred neighbors for a day of art, music, movement, and community.
The program featured printmaking, table tennis, a community dance floor, Renaissance music with original compositions (including a lesson in the branle, pronounced "brawl"), a swing dance lesson, folk music, saxophone performances, and a DJ set. The event showcased the incredible talent of our neighbors while creating opportunities to meet, connect, and enjoy the Lower Montauk corridor together.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, and helped make the day such a success. Community events like these remind us that public spaces can be places for creativity, connection, and belonging.
Thank you to our supporters!
A few generous individuals. Thank you! You know who you are.
Help shape the future of this space. Take our short neighborhood survey — it only takes a few minutes and will be shared with city agencies and elected officials.
